1105 Boynton Avenue, Bronx, NY: Emergency Declaration Project, the scope of work included the replacement of an existing collapsed retaining wall with a new reinforced concrete wall and the structural design of a steel shoring system to withstand the lateral pressure of an occupied building adjacent to the wall. The building was partially occupied during the reconstruction work. Since there was an emergency declaration on the building the work was performed under and in conjunction with the NYC DOB Construction Safety unit.
